Learning To Lament
Through the Psalmist God shows us a spiritually healthy and needful pattern of processing and communicating our deepest sorrow, our struggles, and our pain. In a world with so much suffering and loss, we need to be reminded of God’s provision for our heartache.
Join us as we discuss the God given pattern and ancient practice of lament. We will be meeting outside in the peace of Memorial Gardens of The New River Valley. We encourage you to bring a blanket or a folding chair for your comfort and a notebook and pen. If you know someone who is hurting and would be blessed by an invitation to pursue healing through prayerful expression, please include them.
